Lone Star Parity Project is pleased to announce our partnership with Purple Patriot, a mobile application that serves as a one-stop shop for constituents interested in learning more about their political representatives. Lone Star Parity Project has partnered with Purple Patriot in an effort to drive parity in government.
What is Purple Patriot?
It is a single platform where you can learn about the issues, engage in conversation on Facebook and Twitter, call with your representative and locate their next town hall meeting.
What is Purple Patriot’s story?
Purple Patriot was founded by Jean Templin and her sister, Christine Templin. These data gurus bonded together over the gap in conversation between voters and their representatives. In response, they created an application that would have direct contact with representatives via social media, expanding the reach of voters’ voices by publicizing their inquiries. The name "Purple Patriot" comes from the blending of RED and BLUE and our belief that all people from liberal conservatives to conservative liberals need to find common ground to move forward our beliefs and values.
