Lone Star Parity Project is pleased to announce our partnership with The Gender Equality Project, an online publication that shares the stories of barrier-breaking women across the United States. Lone Star Parity Project has partnered with The Gender Equality Project because of their story-sharing model that helps inspire young leaders to reach their full potential - including aspiring politicians.
What is The Gender Equality?
The Gender Equality Project was founded by likeminded students at Barnard College with the intent of shedding light on the unique experiences of women in the workforce, as well as celebrating the progressive changes made in this community too.
What is The Gender Equality Project’s story?
The Gender Equality Project was founded by Aku Acquaye, a student at Barnard College. Her goal with The GE Project is to provide a space in which the voices of all women are acknowledged and valued. Cheers to equal pay, cheers to comprehensive paid-leave policies, cheers to a day where thoughts and contributions will be valued more than women’s bodies.
