We believe that there are inspirational women everywhere. Texas 254 Women is an on-going project that highlights one incredible woman from each of the Lone Star State's counties. We share their stories and experiences as leaders on the frontlines of Texas politics.

Kori Delapeña

Kori Delapeña is an advocate who has spent the last four years working with the Texas Legislature to pass Cati’s Act.

Kenda Culpepper

Kenda Culpepper is the first woman elected as Rockwall County District Attorney.

Lucy Hebron

Vicki Byrd

Maria Berriozábal

Maria Berriozábal became the first Latina to be elected to the San Antonio City Council in 1981 and ran a historic mayoral campaign in 1991.
